Years of genetics enhancements have allowed the Tleilax to channel aggression into an altered metabolic state aptly called a berserk state. 

The more 'berserked' a Tleilaxu, the greater the damage and adrenaline production. 

The berserk state has some serious drawbacks when it comes to healing.

The bloodstream drops greatly and blood-related healing, ie injections and grafting are much less effective.
