The Honored Matres order has a very rigid structure, and all those of higher rank must be obeyed without question. Attaining each rank takes much patience, time, and hard work. The rank structure is as follows:
1) Initiate
2) Acolyte
3) Regular
4) Sister
5) Adept
6) Select
7) Honored Matre
8) Great Honored Matre
In general, a new rank is achieved every 50 levels of the Sabda tree. For example, a Matre becomes an Acolyte at Sabda 50, a Regular at Sabda 100, etc.
On your guild score you might see stars next to your title, e.g. Acolyte(**) or Regular(*). The stars indicate advancement within a particular title; each star corresponds to roughly 20 levels in the corresponding skill. For example, a title of Acolyte(**) indicates a Sabda level of roughly 90 (50 for Acolyte and 20 for each star).
Titles give many benefits, including better robes and more soostone slots.
On top of these ranks, an member of the order may be assigned to special positions by a Great Honored Matre.
Though any position may be created by a GHM, there are specific positions that warrant mention:
1) Indoctrinator The Indoctrinator is responsible for helping new Initiates adjust to their new lives in the order. She is responsible for their training and well- being. 2) Encantrix The Encantrix is a member who has shown exceptional abilities in the areas of seduction and manipulation. The Encantrix will be able to harness her seductive powers and reach new levels not before possible. The Resheph form is her specialty. 3) Elite The Elite is a member who has shown unmatched combat ability. Her strength and power have allowed her to soar to the top in her specialty: fighting. The Elite will be able to harness her powers more directly, and can gain more power than previously possible. The Flurry form is her specialty. 4) Paragon The Paragon is a member who has achieved a state of complete balance within the order, showing an aptitude in both seduction and combat. She exemplifies the order, and can achieve powers greater than before. The Katahzirui form is her specialty.
These four special titles give benefits to the associated combat form.
Special titles may be taken by force. Any Matre of Adept rank or higher may attack any other Matre of equal or higher rank. If you successfully kill a Matre with a Special Title, that title is transferred to you.
