One of the important skills which Warriors learn from their Bene Gesserit teachers is going into a trance. However, this requires extreme skill for non-Reverend Mothers. For this reason, the Warrior must be in mentat mode, to maximize their mental capacities. Additionally, they must be extremely versatile to go into a deep trance. The trance, like the Gesserit's relaxation techniques, restores mental capacities. A globe is also required in the process.
